Marble

marble is a Japanese pop duo comprised of micco (vocals) and Kikuchi Tatsuya (guitar).

micco and Kikuchi met when they enrolled in the same music school. Together they formed The Student's in 1999 and signed with Warner Music's independent label. In 2003 the group's name was changed to marble, and in 2006 they signed with Lantis. marble made their major debut in February 2007 with the single Mebae Drive. Their songs have been featured in anime series such as Hidamari Sketch, Kamichama Karin and KimiKiss pure rouge.

Their sound is described as calm and soothing "organic pop", most likely because they use very few synthesized instruments and the main instrument is an acoustic guitar.
